Architecture is in our blood. Holsman's have been practicing architecture for FOUR Generations, spanning back to Henry Kirchner Holsman who started his practice in 1905.

Mark is licensed Architect in Washington and Oregon, with a wide range of experience (residential, educational, commercial, and high-end retail) and has worked in extensively all phases of design. He has a strong ability to find efficient design solutions. as a LEED AP, he has experience applying numerous sustainable design strategies to minimize environmental impact by reducing the need for active systems (Lighting, HVAC, Ventilation by use of passive strategies. He received his Professional Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon in 2010, and is the fourth generation architect in his family.

Mark is an active Fisherman & Sailor. He recently completed Race to Alaska (R2AK) in 2024, as a skipper on the team "Stranger Danger".

Sharon has a passion for interior design, and is a valuable consulting and designing resource for HAD. She has years of experience in office management roles, and helps keep this little firm afloat! She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2010.

 

Sharon is a Master Gardner, and focuses on garden design for food production. She is also an active sailor, and has been to Alaska and the west coat of Van Isle with her entire family (3 kids, 2 dogs, and a cat).
